Interview

  • How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or you are more of a homebody?
I don’t get to travel very often anymore but I have enjoyed a few amazing trips in my life so far. The best experience I ever had was when I went to Cambodia for three weeks one summer in high school. I was selected in a competitive program to participate for free in a cross cultural exchange program and that changed my whole outlook on life. To this day I maintain that that was the best three weeks of my life!

I had the privilege of studying abroad for a semester
in college in Córdoba, Argentina. That afforded me the chance to rendezvous in a few South American spots such as Brazil, Uruguay, Chile and Peru as well as really intimately get to know life in my home city in Argentina.

Outside of my few international travels I have enjoyed the occasional domestic trip but still have many cities in this vast country to explore for the first time. Somehow I’ve still never been to New York so that is one of the first destinations I’m aiming for these days!
  • What are your greatest personal traits?
I think my greatest traits are my perseverance and my versatility. I’m no stranger to serious adversity and hardship in this life. From the very beginning, and basically ever since, I’ve had to overcome many difficult, life changing struggles. Yet still here I am. I’m still standing and, like everyone else, just doing my best and trying to live life to the fullest as best I can. I also appreciate my versatility. I’ve had to adapt to so many different situations that I’ve become well versed in making adjustments and going with the flow. I can talk to and relate to so many different people who can all be so different from each other because of how versatile I am and how much empathy I have for others. I find it easy to get along with and truly get to know people from all different walks of life and I’m so thankful for that blessing.
  • Name 5 things that you can’t live without.
My cat, coffee, steak, sleep and Batman. He’s the best.
  • What do you do for fun?
I love movies! I’ve seen just about any blockbuster you can think of but could always use good movie recommendations. Also fun for me are sports whenever we can get enough people involved to start a game (especially football, volleyball, tennis, spike ball, and basketball). I love to travel, dine out and learn new cooking recipes. Oh and naps. I’m a big fan of naps!
  • What kind of diet and fitness regiment do you follow?
Ehh, I prefer to enjoy myself and eat whatever I’m feeling like in the moment. If you only live once then you only get so many meals in this life too, so I never let a strict diet get in the way of having a good time when I’m with friends or family!

On the flip side I love working out and playing sports. It’s more than just staying in shape; it’s fun for me. So I try to stay active enough to keep a healthy body even when my diet isn’t so strict. It’s not for everyone but that’s the balance that works best for me.
