Interview

  • What are your hobbies? What do you like to do in your spare time?
I read a fair few scientific articles
  • Tell us what you consider to be your greatest life experience.
The freedom to travel has been a benediction for personal growth and lends experience going forward
  • If you and I were on the beach having some wine and great food, what would you tell me about yourself.
Id just enjoy the moment and say whatever came to mind that seemed relevant
  • What are your greatest personal traits?
My drive, dedication and perserverance. I might fall at points but I never stay down for long and I can honestly say that Ive never given up.
  • How do you go that ‘extra mile' in your life?
I hold myself to such a high standard but I dont take myself seriously. I know that I wont always be good at everything the first time around but I give it my best attempt and learn from the trials.

I grew up in the USA so customer service and satisfaction actually means something to me.
  • What’s your lifestyle? What makes you who you are?
There is a sense of adventure in everything that I do as I am always running off to try and do new things. Id say i come close to burning the candle but I wouldnt have it any other way.
  • What makes you stand out from the crowd?
I am very dynamic. A large amount of my friends havent ventured far from where they grew up but I am constantly going on spontaneous adventures.
  • What is your ‘niche’?
Connection and passion. The zest I have for life spills over into human interaction, but I dont necessarily feel that you need to speak a great deal to build that connection; eyes and body language can say so much more.
  • What do you do for fun?
Post lockdown I have made it a point to travel as much as possible. I have used my savings to currently be on the road for the last three months. Its been invigorating to remind myself that there is a big world out there.

In university I use to be a part of the casual rowing team. Ive joined an inclusive rugby league in cardiff. I absolutely love snowboarding and have been doing that since I was 13.
  • If you have to pick one thing that everyone else should absolutely know about you, what would it be?
I don't limit myself to labels, aside from using them as general descriptors to give a ballpark idea about my attributes but Im so much more than clips and phrases.
  • What do you enjoy most about yourself?
I never give up. I have developed a sense of resilience to the worst parts of the society that I now appreciate everything else it has to offer.

I've been in higher education for about eight years gaining degrees in environmental biology, biochemsitry, and soon to be biomedical science. I won't stop until I carve out a niche for myself. I will always consider myself to be a lifelong learner.
  • How often do you travel? Do you prefer to travel or you are more of a homebody?
I would live out of a backpack and travel the world if it were an option.
  • What kind of diet and fitness regiment do you follow?
I use to track every calorie and weigh everything out following intense bodybuilding routines powered by steroids. This ruled my life for multiple years before I started taking a more hollistic approach and simply doing moderate intensity to workouts to keep myself fit while enjoying everything in moderation.
  • What would you like your followers to know about you that is unique and even a bit personal?
Being born in the UK and growing up in the states to a military family Ive never truly felt at home anywhere, but Im starting to learn that the grass is green where you water it.
  • What should others absolutely know about you?
Im a very pragmatic individual. I have made a lot of mistakes in my life but I dont feel remorseful about them because they were all learning experiences that built me up into the confident and self assured person I am today. I dont really think I will ever "arrive" as life is a constant journey with no space for complacency.

I am very thoughtful. When I pass old buildings I think about all the lives that were lived out and how those people of days gone by built the foundations for the life we are currently experiencing. I try to think how I can live a bit more simply and lower my impact on the world and the environment. What things I can do to make small differences.

I always try to give the benefit of the doubt. I dont know why people may be acting a particular way, I dont know whats happened in their day or their past to influence their behaviour but I know that I have control on the way that I respond to negativity and how to maintain a positive disposition.
  • Name 5 things that you can’t live without.
I suppose I can't live without my phone, as cliche as that is, theyve become so ingrained in our day to day lives that I could not imagine going back to a life without the product holding the breadth of human knowledge and ingenuity in my pocket.

The safety and security of a solid group of friends, and family members, who build up your best qualities and hold the less than desirable peices to account.

A gym membership. A strong body is an important as a strong mind and they compliment each other so well. The lockdown nearly killed me as I find it so difficult to focus while at home that home workouts were nearly impossible for me to complete.
